Mauricio Soto | Senior Software Engineer

Mauricio Soto has been a QA Engineer since 1999 and works validating devices that run Windows CE. He has assembled some of the first reference boards that were used to develop the first Windows CE versions at Microsoft. Since beginning work on Windows CE when it was only known as code name “Pegasus”, Mauricio has since worked on Windows Embedded CE 2.10 to the latest CE 6.0 and many versions in between. He continuously develops new test code to validate features not tested by Microsoft CE Tool Kit. Over the years, he has been a QA lead for multiple projects and served as a mentor to other QA Engineers. Mauricio recently spent two years in Taiwan helping to develop the BSQUARE Quality Assurance engineering team. Many of his writings on this blog are inspired by the experiences and challenges faced during his stay in Taiwan.
