Elwood D. (Woody) Howse, Jr.

Elwood D. Howse, Jr. has been a director since November 2002. Mr. Howse was formerly President of Cable & Howse Ventures, a Northwest venture capital management firm he helped form in 1977. In 1982 Mr. Howse also participated in the founding of Cable, Howse and Ragen, an investment banking and stock brokerage firm. Mr. Howse has served as corporate director and advisor to various public, private and non-profit enterprises. He served on the board of the National Venture Capital Association and is past President of the Stanford Business School Alumni Association. He currently serves on the boards of directors of Capstone Therapeutics Corp., a publicly traded company, Formotus, Inc. and Universal Water Group, Inc., both of which are privately held, and not-for profits Junior Achievement USA and Junior Achievement of Washington. He has served on a number of other corporate boards in the past. Mr. Howse received both a B.S. in engineering and an M.B.A. from Stanford University and served in the U.S. Navy submarine force.
