Overview
Device Validation TestSuite™ (DVT) is a custom QA solution for the in-house QA teams of BSQUARE QA Service customers who want to replicate BSQUARE’s custom QA program for their device for their own sustaining engineering efforts.

Product Benefits
With this product, OEMs replicate BSQUARE’s custom Test Plan for their platform software in house instead of returning to BSQUARE for additional test passes.  OEMs will:

  • Bring BSQUARE QA products and expertise in-house
  • Save time and money setting up QA
  • Retain in-house control of regression testing
  • Quickly validate additions/changes to their Board Support Packages (BSPs)

Deliverables
Device Validation TestSuite customers receive a CD containing Test Specifications, software, and utilities.  They also receive a four-hour training.

Device Validation TestSuite versus Microsoft CETK Tests
Microsoft CETK tests are individual tests for device drivers along with a few utilities.  Device Validation TestSuite includes tests for drivers as well as out-of-the-box system-level tests, detailed test procedures for automated and manual tests, and test utilities.  Device Validation TestSuite includes training.
