This official Microsoft 5-day course is an overview of Compact 7, a componentized, real-time operating system used to create a wide range of small footprint enterprise and consumer devices, and includes an overview of driver development and OS Design creation. Students will become familiar with Platform Builder, Visual Studio tools and Expression Blend and will use their new skills in multiple hands-on labs that are included as part of this course. Students will create the basic operating system and integrate drivers and learn how to create rich UI with Silverlight for Windows Embedded.
